  • Senior Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist at the New York Foundling- Provide evidence-based treatment in a community based mental health clinic to children and adolescents with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and/or populations who have experienced traumatic life events.
  • Lead Functional Family Therapist (FFT) at The New York Foundling- Provided intensive (1-3 times per week) home-based FFT as part of an Alternative to Placement program called the Juvenile Justice Initiative (JJI) for court involved youth and their families. Developed full treatment plans for all phases of therapy with both English and Spanish speaking families. Conducted comprehensive psychiatric interviews and collaborated with the NY Foundling psychiatric team. Advocated for families in court, schools, and within the social services system.
  • Counseling Intern at the Dean Hope Center at Columbia University. Conducted individual weekly counseling sessions using Cognitive Behavioral as well as Psychodynamic perspectives. Conducted intake evaluations and interpreted testing assessments to understand clients career and personal values in order to develop effective treatment plans.
